What medications are included and how much do they cost?

Teams by Beam ships over 700 commonly utilized medications directly to your doorstep in collaboration with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company. You can find a complete list of medications on their website.

‍As the list of affordable medications continues to evolve, our goal is to provide you with the best value for your medications at all times.

Can I use my HRA, FSA, or HSA to pay for Teams by Beam?

Your monthly subscription is paid by your employer. You are not able to use HRA, FSA, or HSA or monthly subscription.

Employees are able to use their HRA, FSA, and HSA to pay for prescriptions medications, add-on services like home patient monitoring, and at home medical studies. Here is a good article from Optum to get more information.

Are there any costs to employees?

There are no costs to employees. The employer covers the cost of the subscription.

Can my employer see my medical or visit information?

No.

Employers do not have access to employees’ medical charts or how often a particular employee sees a provider. They may receive general numbers, i.e. “There were 100 active patients last month and there were 130 visits in total.”

How long does the enrollment process take?

It’s easy to get started with Teams by Beam. Once you’ve connected with a member of the Beam Team and decided to move forward, it will take you less than 30 minutes to enroll your company and begin to invite your employees.

What is a routine visit?

GERD, rash, UTI, allergies, and non-urgent questions.

Fever, flu, headache, pain, and more

For a quick chat with primary care about stress and anxiety.

How do I get my prescription medications?

You will get your prescriptions through Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?

We do not prescribe controlled substances at this time.

Are there annual limits with each plan?

Yes there would be limits for prescription meds and visit type according to your plan

Why don’t you provide unlimited visits?

We want to ensure the patient receives the proper care. While it may be easy to market with “unlimited visits”, if someone needs a high number of visits, it's a complex case requiring close in-person visits with additional resources.

Where can I self-order my blood tests?

You can simply go to https://teams.healthcare/lab-tests

How can I get input from a specialist about my case?

Your primary will have access to specialists directly to discuss your case w/o you having to wait. For complex discussions, you can schedule a consultation directly .

What do you mean by proactive healthcare?

Our goal is to understand your current state of health, talk through your lifestyle, your overall goals, and discuss how we can keep you healthy and happy by leveraging nutrition and lifestyle changes. Medications should be the last resort.

Where can I get mental health counseling under the Health & Wellness plan?

You will have access to mental health therapy through our collaboration with BetterHelp.
