Prior to processing your payment, a member of our medical team will review your medical information from your primary care provider to ensure that our team can meet your needs. If our team determines that your care would be better served by an in-person consult, or that we are not the best choice for you for another reason, you will not be charged for the appointment.

You should bring the following to your initial virtual appointment:
Your endocrinologist will ask about your symptoms, medications, health habits, and family history of hormone-related problems.
The physician will check your pulse, heart rate, and blood pressure. They will and examine your skin, hair, mouth and teeth, as hormone-related disorders can affect these areas.
Your endocrinologist will work with your referring doctor to develop a treatment plan. Some people will continue to see an endocrinologist, depending on the nature of their diagnosis.
Teams by Beam endocrinologists will not prescribe medications nor perform followup care. Our doctors work in tandem with your primary care provider to provide specialist recommendations regarding care for endocrine conditions.
